Alcohol and other drug treatment

Our commissioned services in this area are designed to reduce harms caused by alcohol, illicit drugs and misuse of prescription medications.

Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network (EMPHN) collaborates closely with a range of partners in the area of alcohol and other drugs to ensure that services are built on the best-available knowledge.

Our partners include:

  • People and carers
  • Alcohol and other drugs service providers
  • Peak bodies
  • Local Government Area pharmacotherapy networks

Our work also helps to ensure that new services are well integrated with existing health services.
