How to access support
SupportConnect is a website and telephone service that helps you to find the right mental health, alcohol and other drugs, and suicide prevention services, in eastern and north-eastern Melbourne. It’s for people in need, as well as families, friends, carers and health professionals.
To find services that best meet your needs, you can:
- Search the SupportConnect website – just answer a few simple online questions, or type what you’re looking for into the search bar
- Use the SupportConnect telephone service by calling (03) 9800 1071 – speak to a member of the SupportConnect team if you’d prefer to talk to a person
SupportConnect also has a resource section, with links to trusted information on a variety of topics, such as mental health, social and emotional wellbeing, suicide prevention, drugs and alcohol, and addictive behaviour.
In addition, the SupportConnect team telephone service is available Monday to Friday from 9am–5pm (excluding public holidays).
This is not a 24/7 emergency service — always call 000 in an emergency.
