Section 3.1 | Understanding Needs and Context (page 9): Value of PPRG participation from a key stakeholder
Being involved in the Protocol has been really important both with the knowledge and information I can provide to the Protocol Group, but also in the enormous knowledge I gain in regard to our community, what is happening in our community and how we can contribute.

Section 3.2.2 | Collegial support and self-care (page 11): Collective care and support as a PPRG member
I am grateful and humbled to be a part of this group who offer compassionate collective care support and wisdom to communities affected by suicide, so they are not alone with their grief and distress.

Section 3.2 | Stakeholder relationships (page 10): Guidance on stakeholder mapping
Rather than seeking to include all the named agencies in the diagram, consider which services play the same functions within the context of your own region or PPRG setting and make decisions accordingly.
Section 3.3 | Governance (page 13): Guidance on multi‑level governance structures
Consider more than one level in a governance structure eg an advisory group and an activation group, as this can reduce the number of people who are either exposed to distressing information or provided with confidential information.
Section 4.3 | Managing external communication (page 23): Guidance on geotagging in social media campaigns
Social media campaigns can be aided by the use of location or in ‘geotagging’ in the campaign strategy. This is particularly useful for PPRGs in rural and regional settings.
Section 4.4 | Information management (page 25): Guidance on written agreements for confidentiality and privacy
It can be useful to develop a written agreement outlining responsibilities related to confidentiality and privacy and to have a version available for an invited ‘guest’ to agree to before participation.
