There is currently a shortage of Medication-Assisted Treatment of Opioid Dependence (MATOD) prescribers supporting the community.
EMPHN is calling on GPs in Victoria to take part in a paid MATOD Clinical Placement Program, to support patients who live with Opioid Use Disorder.
The MATOD Clinical Placement Program (the Program) is designed to build the skills and confidence of general practitioners who want to provide quality MATOD services to patients who live with Opioid Use Disorder.
Benefits of the program include:

- Financial incentive: Up to $9,760 remuneration
