Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinics

Two specialised clinics have been established within the Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network (EMPHN) region to reduce delays in diagnosis, and to promote early intervention, care and treatment for people experiencing the debilitating effects of endometriosis and pelvic pain.

The two clinics – located in Epping and Ringwood – are led by experienced General Practitioners (GPs) and supported by a skilled multidisciplinary team, including nurses and allied health professionals.

Services offered by the clinics include:

  • Medical consultations
  • Nursing consultations
  • Allied health consultations
  • Diagnostic investigations
  • Established referrals pathway to specialist clinics and allied health providers

As well as directly helping patients, the clinics will raise awareness of endometriosis and pelvic pain, build professional knowledge and skills, and improve access to information and care pathways.
