Urgent reminder: 2024 CPD deadline approaching for GPs – No grace period beyond December 2024.
The Medical Board of Australia has issued an important update for all doctors regarding Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements. As of December 2024, there will be no grace period for completing your CPD hours.
This means that all 2024 CPD requirements must be completed by 31 December 2024. RACGP – 2023-25 Triennium
While doctors will still have until 28 February 2025 to finalise the recording of their CPD activities completed in 2024, all CPD hours themselves must be completed by the end of December 2024.
To avoid any last-minute rush, it’s crucial to check your progress and ensure you’re on track to meet these requirements. Failing to do so could result in compliance issues that may affect your medical registration.
