Last week, EMPHN was proud to attend the Epping Endometriosis & Pelvic Pain clinic where Minister for Women, The Hon Katy Gallagher and the Minister for Skills and Training and Federal Member for Scullin, The Hon Andrew Giles, were welcomed to tour, learn about the services and raise awareness of this essential clinic.
Coinciding with Endometriosis Awareness month, this visit highlighted the important role of Endometriosis & Pelvic Pain clinics in diagnosing, treating and caring for those suffering with this often-misunderstood condition, which affects one in nine Australian women and people assigned female at birth.
The visit provided an opportunity to highlight the critical work of the clinic in supporting those suffering from the debilitating effects of endometriosis and pelvic pain.
EMPHN extends appreciation to Minister Gallagher and Minister Giles for their support, as well as to the team at the Epping Endometriosis & Pelvic Pain clinic for their ongoing dedication to delivering high quality care.
With continued support from the government, healthcare partners, and the broader community, the Epping Endometriosis & Pelvic Pain clinic stands as a source of hope, providing treatment and care for those impacted by endometriosis.
EMPHN is proud to commission and support these services and looks forward to further advancements in care, awareness and accessibility of these clinics.
