About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Program Officer – Clinical Data and Systems Improvements to Lead the Audit and Feedback Project, an initiative that provides clinicians with condition-specific reports benchmarking their clinical data against the latest evidence-based guidelines.

As the program lead, you will be at the forefront of scaling and evolving this initiative, collaborating with academia, peak bodies, industry leaders, and primary care professionals to embed data insights as a strategy to improve care across the catchment and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the evolution of EMPHN’s Audit and Feedback Program into a world-class behaviour change initiative.
  • Develop and deliver training and education to support GPs in interpreting and applying clinical data to improve patient outcomes.
  • Work closely with internal teams, GPs, pharmacists, and practice nurses to enhance data literacy and drive improvements in clinical care.
  • Provide technical and program support for the integration of clinical data tools in general practices.
  • Manage program deliverables, including contracts, budgets, and performance tracking
  • Contribute to research, evaluation, and ongoing improvements in data-related health initiatives.

About You

We are looking for a health professional with clinical data and product management expertise who is passionate about improving care. You should have:

  • Clinical or health data experience – Background in medicine, pharmacy, biomedical sciences, clinical nursing, or digital health.
  • Product management experience – Ability to take an initiative from concept to scale, ensuring alignment with clinical and strategic goals.
  • Primary care knowledge – Understanding of general practice operations and experience with clinical data systems (e.g., practice management software, Polar) .
  • Behaviour change capability – Understand the drivers of clinical behaviour, and how to influence this.
  • Data-driven mindset – Ability to interpret, visualize, and present clinical data, making it actionable for healthcare providers.
  • Stakeholder engagement skills – Experience working with GPs, practice managers, PHNs, or health organisations.
  • Great project management capability – Ability to assist in managing deliverables, contracts, budgets, and performance tracking.
  • Strong communication skills – Ability to convey complex data insights to clinical and non-clinical audiences.

Applications Close: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until a successful candidate is appointed.
