Protecting refugees and people seeking asylum from vaccine-preventable diseases is important for both individual and community health. Assessing vaccination history and developing catch-up vaccination plans can be complex, particularly where records are incomplete or unavailable.

This webinar series has been designed to support immunisation providers with practical guidance on:

  • assessing vaccination history
  • planning catch-up vaccination schedules
  • administering catch-up vaccines in line with current recommendations.

The series includes:

Webinar 1: Catch-up vaccination for adults aged 20 years and over

Webinar 2: Catch-up vaccination for children and adolescents up to 20 years of age

I encourage staff who work with refugee and asylum seeker communities, or who are involved in catch-up immunisation, to consider attending and sharing this opportunity with relevant colleagues and networks.
