This interactive webinar session is presented by a multidisciplinary panel of specialist clinicians from Western Health’s Endocrinology, Endocrine Surgery and Radiology and Nuclear Medicine departments.

It will present the latest updates in thyroid disease care relevant to primary care physicians. Topics covered include up-to-date descriptions of the local burden of thyroid disease – highlighting opportunities for improvements in diagnosis and management – as well as reviews of the latest guidelines for the management of hyperthyroidism and thyroid nodules, and the management of thyroid disorders during pregnancy. Updates on local referral guidelines and new radioactive iodine services at Western Health will also be covered, with expert multidisciplinary input from all relevant specialties.

Finally, there will be opportunity for a direct question and answer session with the speakers.
