This interactive online course is designed to help health professionals provide best-practice sexual and reproductive healthcare throughout their patient’s life.
Session one focused on how to have sexual and reproductive health conversations with young people, including engagement strategies, consent, cultural considerations, and person-centred approaches.
Session two will focus on women in mid-life and beyond, discussing sexual health through perimenopause, menopause, and after illness.
Knowledge will be translated into practice to improve sexual and reproductive health care throughout a patient’s life.
Learning Outcomes: On completion of this course and its components, participants will be able to:
CPD & Endorsement: This activity may be suitable for self-claiming CPD hours with your professional body. A statement of attendance will be provided for full attendees.
Funding: The Sexual and Reproductive Health Through the Lifespan training received funding from the Australian Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.
