A short, practical webinar for nurses working in aged and residential care, focused on everyday infection prevention habits that protect residents and staff, and support respectful, consistent care for everyone.

We’ll cover standard precautions for blood and body fluids, what to do after a needlestick or splash, and simple communication approaches that protect privacy and dignity.

It includes a lived experience presentation highlighting what respectful care can look like in aged care settings.

On completion of this course and its components, participants will be able to:

  • Apply standard precautions consistently.
  • Respond appropriately to sharps and splash exposures Deliver respectful, confidentiality-safe care.
