A small group workshop for health practitioners to explore emotional reactions to cancer, learn to recognise emotions and apply frameworks to respond through practise with a simulated patient.
Delivered by two experienced facilitators, this workshop will give you the opportunity to:
- Explore emotional reactions to cancer
- Learn evidence-based techniques to confidently navigate emotional conversations
- Practice conversations with simulated patients to apply techniques
- Feel better prepared to show empathy, manage emotion, and deliver person-centred care.
