Organiser

Committed to providing ongoing education for healthcare professionals, we are pleased to present the HASA Women’s Health Day for GPs – 2026.

This highly anticipated event brings together experienced specialists to share valuable insights, updates, and practical knowledge directly relevant to general practice.

This is a fantastic opportunity for GPs and primary healthcare professionals to engage in meaningful education, expand clinical knowledge, and hear directly from leading specialists across a range of important women’s health topics.

This is a FREE RACGP-accredited event, offering healthcare professionals 6 CPD points, 3 Educational Activity points, 3 Reviewing Performance points.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from an exceptional panel of specialists, including:

  • A/Prof Magdalena Simonis AM Topic: Preconception counselling and the initial antenatal visit.
  • A/Prof Arunaz Kumar Topic: From menarche to menopause – Managing menstrual abnormalities.
  • Dr Rashi Kalra Topic: Preconception genetic testing, IVF and preimplantation genetic testing of embryos.
  • Dr Midia Alias Topic: Vulval Disorders.
  • Dr Iniyaval (Ini) Thevathasan Topic: Dealing with unexpected results in pregnancy.
  • Dr Clare Myers Topic: Endometriosis.

Each specialist will present on key clinical topics relevant to everyday practice, providing practical insights and updates to support GPs in delivering high-quality patient care.

Due to overwhelming demand, last year’s events sold out quickly, and with strong interest again this year, places are strictly limited.

Please note that while this is a free event, If attendees can no longer attend, we strongly encourage them to notify us as soon as possible so their place can be offered to another GP or healthcare professional in the community.
