WentWest invites GPs and Allied Health Professionals to complete the IAR-DST online training.
Join us for training in the Initial Assessment and Referral (IAR) Decision Support Tool (DST) for Mental Healthcare.
The National IAR Guidance and IAR-DST has been developed by the Australian Department of Health, Disability and Ageing and is being rolled out nationally.
Learning Outcomes:
- Summarise the principles underpinning the national approach to stepped care.
- Summarise the IAR development process.
- Explain the use of IAR Guidance in practice settings to generate a recommended level of care.
- List the levels of care in relation to available regional services
- Identify the principles related to clinical decision making and consumer choice
You only need to complete one session regardless of the adaptation. Our sessions are in demand, and we ask that you do not register for more than one session.
Presenter:
The workshop will be facilitated by an experienced IAR Training and Support Officer (TSO) from the National TSO Network.
Accreditation:
RACGP: 1 Educational Activity hour, 1 Reviewing Performance hour.
ACCRM: 1 Educational Activity hour, 1 Reviewing Performance hour.
All CPD hours are to be self-logged.
