Cancer Council Victoria and the Victoria and Tasmania PHN Alliance, Primary Health Tasmania are hosting a webinar for GPs and practice teams across Victoria and Tasmania, to ensure you are up to date with the latest in cancer screening.

  • Breast Density Updates: Dr David Speakman and Dr Virginia ‘Ginny’ Baird explore how breast density influences cancer risk and mammographic sensitivity, and detail current recommendations in both the Victorian and Tasmanian context.
  • Cancer Screening for the LGBTQ+ Community: A/Prof Ruth McNair AM will provide insights on opportunities to optimise cancer screening in the LGBTQ+ community.
  • Culturally Safe Cancer Screening for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People: Emma Robertson will discuss culturally safe cancer screening practices for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
