National Eating Disorders Collaboration (NEDC) and Eating Disorders Victoria (EDV) invite you to join an engaging webinar on eating disorders.

During the webinar, attendees will hear from the NEDC and EDV teams about:

  • The context for eating disorders in Victoria, including the stepped system of care, Victorian Eating Disorders Strategy, and the National Eating Disorders Strategy
  • The role of GPs and PHNs in preventing, identifying, responding and providing treatment for people experiencing eating disorders
  • The core principles of treatment for eating disorders
  • Referral pathways within Victoria, including updates on new initiatives and programs
  • Services and supports available through Eating Disorders Victoria
  • Training, tools and resources to support you in your role

Attendees will also hear from a person with lived experience of an eating disorder about their experience of primary care during their recovery journey.

The webinar is for GPs, nurses, practice nurses, and other health professionals involved in the response to and care of people at risk of, or experiencing eating disorders.

This webinar will be accredited by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) as an RACGP-approved CPD activity under the RACGP CPD Program.
