Presenter: Dr Rohit Samuel, Cardiologist Bio: Dr Rohit Samuel is an interventional cardiologist and cardiac CT specialist with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.

Dr Samuel completed his advanced cardiology training in Melbourne and holds both a Master of Public Health and a Master of Clinical Ultrasound. Dr Samuel completed a two-year fellowship in interventional and structural cardiology at Vancouver General Hospital in British Columbia, Canada, where he gained extensive experience in complex coronary and structural heart procedures.

Dr Samuel’s areas of expertise include coronary angiography, coronary stenting, intravascular imaging, and advanced transcatheter structural interventions. He is an accredited cardiac CT specialist and regularly review and report CT coronary angiograms. By combining advanced imaging with interventional cardiology, Dr Samuel provides a comprehensive and holistic approach to cardiovascular care, focusing on the prevention, assessment, and management of heart disease to achieve the best possible outcomes for his patients.

  2. Outline the appropriate patient selection and clinical indications for cardiac CT
  3. Discuss tailoring management based on CT findings to reduce cardiac risk
