Last night, EMPHN proudly hosted the launch of our ambitious Strategic Plan for 2025-2028. This pivotal document outlines our strategic vision, key priorities, and the measurable outcomes we aim to achieve in the coming years.
Our event featured an esteemed panel, including EMPHN Board Chair Dr Stephen Duckett, Dr Tamsin Short, Executive Lead of Mental Health and AOD Services for Access Health and Community and one of our Clinical and Practice Council Members, Professor Malcolm Hopwood, Ramsay Health Care Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Melbourne, and Community and Consumer Council Member Katherine Cummings. Together, they led an insightful discussion on the future of mental health services and EMPHN’s role in enhancing health services.Â
EMPHN’s Strategic Plan is the result of extensive collaboration with stakeholders, service providers, health professionals, community members, and individuals with lived experience. Our plan is focused on three core pillars that resonate deeply within our community.
1. Drive equitable access and outcomes for communities
2. Connect our partners and communities to enable integration and change
3. Leverage insights to improve outcomes, drive value and demonstrate impact
