MBS Item update 1 November 2023: Triple Bulk Billing

From 1 November 2023, the bulk billing incentive payments for Commonwealth concession card holders and children U16 are increasing.

These payments are triple the existing amounts for standard bulk billing incentives.

This table highlights the types of consultations doctors can use the triple bulk billing incentive for.

The existing single bulk billing incentive will continue to be available for other non referred GP services such as level A general attendances, mental health consultations, chronic disease management items and health assessments. More information.
