ASHM’s new campaign is raising awareness of the vital role of Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) in preventing HIV transmission. PrEP is a highly effective antiretroviral medication used to prevent HIV transmission that can be taken once daily or on demand.
PrEP is one of the most effective HIV prevention tools we’ve ever had – having reduced the incidence of HIV by 92% over 3 years vs the historically expected incidence.
ASHM’s new PrEP campaign is raising awareness, encouraging conversations, and helping more people access this life-changing medication.
