After running 15 successful national CVD virtual roadshows for general practice teams across Australia, the Heart Foundation is thrilled to move forward with their next event, tailored specifically for primary care health professionals in the Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network (EMPHN) region.
In partnership with EMPHN, this roadshow offers hands-on, evidence-based strategies to help you identify, assess, and manage CVD risk.
During 90 minutes of live presentations and Q&A, you’ll hear from local clinical experts: Cardiologist Prof David Hare and GP Dr. Amitabh Ilango. They will share their insights on current recommendations for CVD risk assessment and demonstrate how to apply the 2023 Australian Guideline for assessing and managing cardiovascular disease risk, along with the Aus CVD Risk calculator.
