As the Procurement Specialist, you will support end‑to‑end procurement activities including tendering, contract administration, market engagement, and reporting.
Procurement is central to EMPHN’s role in driving system improvement, and this position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to how services are commissioned and delivered across the health system.
Reporting to the Procurement and Contracts Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring procurement activities are managed professionally, efficiently, and in line with EMPHN policies, probity requirements, and value‑for‑money principles.
About you
You’re a procurement professional who brings a practical, collaborative approach and a strong commitment to integrity and accountability. You enjoy working with a diverse range of stakeholders and are confident navigating procurement processes in a regulated environment.
You bring:
- Experience supporting or delivering procurement activities, ideally in a complex or multidisciplinary organisation
- Knowledge of procurement processes, tendering, and contract administration
- Strong planning, coordination, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Confidence working with internal stakeholders to guide and support them through procurement processes
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using procurement and contract management platforms
Experience in the health or not-for-profit sector is welcomed but not essential. What matters most is your ability to apply sound judgement, work collaboratively, and contribute positively to the organisation.
