About the Role:
Kilsyth Medical Centre is seeking a skilled and compassionate Division 1 Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team on a part-time basis. As a Division 1 Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our patients in the Kilsyth, VIC 3137 community.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting with the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care
- Administering medications and treatments as per the treatment plan
- Monitoring patient progress and reporting any changes or concerns to the registered nurse or medical practitioner
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
- Promoting patient education and empowerment
- Adhering to all relevant healthcare policies, procedures and professional standards
What we’re looking for:
- Current Division 1 Nurse registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a general medical practice
- Experience must be gained specifically in GP clinic settings
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Australian work rights are required
Requirements:
- AHPRA registered Certificate
- Current & valid Police Clerance Certificate
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Cold Chain Certificate
