About the Role:

Kilsyth Medical Centre is seeking a skilled and compassionate Division 1 Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team on a part-time basis. As a Division 1 Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our patients in the Kilsyth, VIC 3137 community.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assisting with the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care
  • Administering medications and treatments as per the treatment plan
  • Monitoring patient progress and reporting any changes or concerns to the registered nurse or medical practitioner
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
  • Promoting patient education and empowerment
  • Adhering to all relevant healthcare policies, procedures and professional standards

What we’re looking for:

  • Current Division 1 Nurse registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a general medical practice
  • Experience must be gained specifically in GP clinic settings
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Australian work rights are required

Requirements:

  • AHPRA registered Certificate
  • Current & valid Police Clerance Certificate
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Cold Chain Certificate
