Practice Nurse, Glen Iris General Practice

An exciting opportunity is available for a friendly, reliable and experienced registered nurse to join Glen Iris General Practice. Ideal for a nurse wanting to make their mark by establishing nursing policies and procedures in a newly established practice. As a new practice, working hours can be negotiated for the right candidate.
• Permanent part time position
• Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (no shifts or weekends)
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience ($40-$50 depending on experience)

The Role:
Glen Iris General Practice is a privately owned, busy practice, with currently 1 doctor. We are looking for a caring, compassionate and empathetic nurse, who can work as part of a team.
The position has a variety of tasks and duties:
• Chronic disease management and health assessments
• Wound management
• Childhood immunisations
• Travel vaccinations
• Assisting with minor procedures
• All training provided but a knowledge of Best Practice is an advantage.
