Position Details and Job Classification:

Practice Nurse 2 days per week (only weekdays)

Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM / 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Employment type : Casual

Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese will be highly valued.

Your Role :

Assisting with minor procedures

Wound care

Providing and uploading Immunisations to AIR

Ordering stock and vaccines

General treatment room responsibilities

Quality improvement and support with the accreditation process.

Health Assessment and Care Plan creation

Pre Requisite’s:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) registration with AHPRA.

Certified nurse immuniser with confidence in running flu vaccine clinics

Knowledge of chronic care management (e.g. diabetes, care plans, etc)

Knowledge of the current Immunisation schedules

Experience in a General practice setting and experience with Medicare Item numbers

Excellent Computer skills with knowledge of Medical Director/Pracsoft (or similar software )

Current First Aid and CPR certificates.

Candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and provide a proactive and empathetic approach to patient care
