We are looking for part-time General Practitioners to work in our beautiful, newly fit-out clinic in Oakleigh. We are north of the main Oakleigh commercial district in a modern building. There are recently built apartment buildings nearby and the beautiful Caloola Reserve / Gardener’s Creek, and demand for services is growing strongly.

Our patients largely come from the surrounding suburbs of Oakleigh, Chadstone, Mount Waverley, Clayton, Huntingdale, Murumbeena, Malvern East, Ashwood and Ashburton.

We are a new practice, opened in the last 3-4 months. Our focus is sustaining and maintaining a healthy workplace culture, that supports delivery of a high standard of quality, evidence-based care.

Our clinic is designed and led by our clinical director, Dr Matthew Thuy, a skilled and caring general practitioner with over 15 years of Australian healthcare experience, and special experience in aged care, telehealth and urgent care.

We have a talented and energetic lead practice nurse with over 5 years of general practice experience who can assist with chronic disease management plans, immunisations, health assessments and many other clinical tasks i.e wound management, ECGs etc. Our reception staff are knowledgeable, supportive, caring and hold current CPR training

Our clinic runs as a Medicare Bulk Billing Clinic, which removes an important financial barrier for patients seeking care. We are appointment only, to ensure the clinic runs in an orderly and safe manner. We use Best Practice Software on a new local server with powerful IT infrastructure.

This position will be ideal for General Practitioners who live near the area and who share similar values. We will care for you and your career. The position is particularly good for new RACGP fellows or VR GPs with special interests in Aged Care and/or Telehealth.
