Who are we? 
Deakin University Medical Centre provides accessible and confidential health services to university students and staff. The Medical Centre is located within the Health and Wellbeing Centre and collaborates with other university support services such as psychological programs and services, disability support and international support teams.  

Deakin University Medical Centre Bulk bills domestic students and directly bill Overseas Health Cover providers for international students. Staff are charged a private fee which attracts Medicare , we have Tyro integrations to support smooth direct payments into practitioners’ bank accounts.

As a General Practitioner, you are required to have the following:  
– FRACGP & non-restricted specialist registration with general registration with AHPRA 
– Experience in Immunisations, youth, mental, sexual health and Iron infusions highly desirable 
– Provide comprehensive care, with consideration and respect of patients’ rights, identity, body diversity, beliefs, language, religious and cultural backgrounds. 
– Demonstrate personal attributes aligning with the University’s values of being Brave, Dynamic, Ethical, Excellent, Inclusive and Sustainable. 
– Strong communicator and team-player.
