We are a collaborative, positive group that values creativity, clear communication, and shared problem solving. We partner closely with teams across EMPHN to ensure messages are consistent, purposeful, and aligned with our strategic priorities.

From crafting content and coordinating events to uplifting internal communication practices, we work together to make information accessible, engaging, and reflective of who we are as an organisation.

You’ll be joining a team that supports each other, celebrates collective success, and isn’t afraid to try new things.

About the role

As the Communications and Engagement Coordinator, you will play a key role in shaping how EMPHN communicates both internally and externally.

Working closely with the Senior Manager of Communications and Stakeholder Engagement and the wider team, you will contribute to:

  • Creating clear, engaging content
  • Coordinating newsletters and communication activities
  • Supporting team and organisation wide events
  • Updating our website and intranet
  • Providing administrative and coordination support across the team

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, people focused environment and enjoys juggling varied tasks with accuracy and care.

About you

  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • A proactive mindset and accountability for delivering quality work
  • Confidence using digital communication platforms and tools
  • An interest in health, community services, government, or the not for profit sector

Experience in health or the public sector is welcomed but not essential—your willingness to learn and contribute matters most.
