Practice Management Education Day

Eastern Melbourne PHN invites Practice Managers to a full-day event of education and networking.

Event details:

• 8.30am – 3.00pm (sign-in from 8am)

Event speakers include:

• Dr Clifford Morrison, GP owner/partner & member of the Business for Doctors team
  • Dr Morrison will provide a 60-minute speed session focused on MBS compliance and billing education, which is a significant component of the practice manager’s responsibilities. 
  • Learn the finer details of billing and coding, combination billing, documentation and care plans, and the necessary annotations required to avoid Medicare rejections.

  • Common accreditation non-compliances will be addressed and your questions answered.   
• Anna Uhe and Pia Cerveri, Project Officers, Worksafe
  • Hear about the role of WorkSafe including recent legislative changes, scheme literacy information, online invoicing and OH&S resources.

  • Learn more about payroll tax for general practices.
