The Pathways to Thriving Conference is an initiative by Transcend Australia, designed to provide insights, education, and community support for transgender, gender-diverse, and non-binary (TGDNB) children, their families, and the broader community. The conference features keynote addresses, panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities over three days.

The conference is open to:

  • Parents and caregivers of TGDNB children
  • Anyone who works with young people like youth workers, nurses and educators
  • Community advocates and allies
  • TGDNB individuals and their families
  • Anyone interested in learning more about supporting TGDNB children and young people

Please note:
Day 1: is best for TGDNB young people between 12 and 18 years old.
Day 2: is best for parents and carers of TGDNB children and young people.
Day 3: is best for those who work with TGDNB young people.

Day 3: The program has been designed for participants to dip in and out of the day, without making a big scene, and making it fit with your work schedule. Delivered both online and in-person, this day is designed for people who work with or provide services for children or young people. It showcases leading Australian experts, people with lived experience and practical sessions on working with families and providing age appropriate, safe, gender affirming care.
