Victoria is currently experiencing a measles outbreak with both local and overseas acquisition. This webinar will provide information that will support clinicians to diagnose, test for and prevent measles.

Hosted by Dr Annaliese van Dieman (Public Health Physician and Director, North Eastern Public Health Unit), the webinar will feature presentations on topics including: 

  • Current epidemiology of measles 
  • Risk factors for measles and transmissibility 
  • Clinical presentation of measles 
  • Preparing your clinic to manage potential measles cases 
  • How to safely test for measles 
  • What you need to do if a measles exposure occurs at your clinic 
  • How to prevent measles

The event will be interactive with time for questions and comments.
