You are invited to an educational webinar designed to support GPs in understanding emerging adjunctive therapies currently being used in integrative clinical care, supported by Australian research.

Join A/Prof Karin Ried, Director of Research at NIIM, for an evidence-based presentation exploring the clinical application, patient suitability and emerging outcomes of:

  • Hyperthermia
  • Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
  • Whole-body Photodynamic Therapy (Lightbed)
  • Red Light Helmet Therapy

What will be covered?
These therapies are increasingly being explored as adjuncts in oncology, cognitive health and chronic disease management. This clinically focused session will draw on NIIM’s current and completed research programs and real-world clinical application.

Throughout the presentation, Dr Ried will contextualise who these therapies may be suitable for, what conditions are being explored, and how GPs can assess appropriateness for referral.

Why attend?

  • Upskill your understanding of adjunctive, non-pharmacological therapies that patients are increasingly asking about
  • Gain insight into Australian research outcomes, not just theory
  • Support informed, evidence-based referral conversations with
    patients
  • Clarify how these therapies are positioned within integrative,
    multidisciplinary care
