On completion of this quality improvement program, you will be able to:
- Understand the current status of COVID-19 in Australia, in particular its impact on older patients in primary care
- Clarify the role of vaccination in preventing COVID-19-related morbidity and mortality in older patients
- Review current best practice recommendations for COVID-19 vaccination in patients aged 65 and older
- Using a team-based approach, decide on quality improvement targets and actions related to improving uptake of COVID-19 vaccines in older patients in primary care
- Implement and reflect on practice-wide quality improvement initiatives for increasing COVID-19 vaccine uptake
