This 1-hour session has a focus on springtime asthma and allergic rhinitis and how to manage both conditions, using the latest evidence-based guidelines. Thunderstorm asthma is a springtime phenomenon that all health professionals in primary care need to be prepared for. Narelle Williamson is the Senior Clinical Consultant at the National Asthma Council Australia. She is a registered nurse and respiratory educator, with over 25 years’ experience in acute hospital settings and primary health care.
Narelle has developed nurse-led respiratory clinics in primary care and for the past 12 years, most recently in Melbourne’s east. Before her consultant management role at the NAC, she spent 15 years as nursing manager at a large and highly regarded general practice.
