Join this upcoming webinar to learn about the latest update to the National Cervical Screening Program (NCSP) Guidelines.

Delivered in partnership with the Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care, this webinar will support you in optimising care for your patients by guiding you through changes from the latest review. It will outline the key updates you should be aware of including changes to Test of Cure, surveillance and follow-up after AIS, guidance on intervals for unsatisfactory tests and much more.

You’ll be provided with a range of resources and expert insights to help you navigate the changes with an opportunity to put your questions to cervical screening experts Prof Deborah Bateson and Dr Lara Roeske.

Dr Lara Roeske
GP and Provost, RACGP Specific Interests

Dr Lara Roeske is a GP and practice owner, Provost, RACGP Specific Interests and has held many senior positions at the RACGP including Chair, RACGP Board, Chair, RACGP Specific Interests, Deputy Chair Victoria Council, inaugural Chair of RACGP Specific Interests Sexual Health Medicine group, and past Chair of the Women in General Practice RACGP Victoria committee. With a career spanning more than 20 years, Dr Roeske has worked in advisory roles to key stakeholders, on steering committees, guideline working parties, representing the RACGP across a range of domains relevant to sexual and reproductive health, cervical cancer prevention and translation of evidence into practice at state and national levels.

Prof Deborah Bateson
Professor of Practice at The Daffodil Centre

Deborah Bateson is Professor of Practice at The Daffodil Centre, a joint venture between The University of Sydney and Cancer Council NSW, and formerly Medical Director at Family Planning NSW. Deborah has worked as a clinician, researcher, educator, and advocate in sexual and reproductive health for over 20 years with a focus on equitable access to cervical screening services and reproductive healthcare. Deborah is leading an NHMRC study to increase cervical screening participation of people with intellectual disability, and is Chair of the National Cervical Screening Program Self-Collection Implementation Committee, Deputy Chair of the Quality and Safety Monitoring Committee and member of the Cervical Screening Guidelines Working Party.
