The North East Mental Health Service Coordination Alliance (NEMHSCA) delivers a range of free professional development activities designed to enhance practice knowledge, update and connect local services, and improve care coordination across the north-east metropolitan region.
Events
The NEMHSCA professional development working party (PDWP) meets monthly to develop workforce development and capacity building events for the regional workforce.
The PDWP includes service managers and senior leaders from:
- Clinical and community mental health
- Alcohol and other drugs
- Family and carer and community services
Together, the NEMHSCA Project Coordinator and PDWP use their diverse service experience and understanding of workforce needs to develop and promote events and training activities.
