Dr Wang is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and hold public appointments at Monash and Eastern Health. \n\n\n\nDr Wang manages a wide range of vascular conditions including peripheral arterial disease\, aneurysmal disease\, carotid artery disease\, and dialysis access\, as well as venous disease\, including varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency. Her skillset offers both open surgical and minimally invasive endovascular treatment options based on each patient’s individual requirements. \n\n\n\nDr Wang’s goal is to provide thoughtful\, compassionate and patient-centred care by ensuring clear communication with patients and their family regarding each condition and the treatment options available. She works collaboratively with other hospital specialists and referring doctors to ensure patients achieve the best possible outcomes throughout their treatment journey.

His clinical interests include oesophageal and gastric cancer\, bariatric surgery\, hiatal hernias and gastro-oesophageal reflux\, and abdominal wall and groin hernia surgery. \n\n\n\nMr Stokes completed general surgical training through Alfred Health\, obtaining FRACS in 2021\, followed by three years of subspecialty training through the highly competitive AANZGOSA post-fellowship program. He undertook further training at Princess Alexandra Hospital\, Brisbane\, gaining extensive experience in minimally invasive surgery for gastro-oesophageal reflux\, hiatal hernia\, and oesophageal and gastric cancer. Mr Stokes then completed a high-volume oesophago-gastric cancer fellowship at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh\, Scotland\, refining skills in complex cancer surgery. \n\n\n\nMr Stokes hold public appointments at The Alfred and Peninsula Health. Privately\, he consult in Malvern\, Frankston and Gippsland as part of South East Upper GI Surgical Group and operate at Cabrini Malvern.

The IAR and the IAR-DST are an Australian Government Department of Health\, Disability and Aging initiative bringing together information from various sources\, including Australian and international evidence and advice from various leading experts. \n\n\n\nOnline live workshopThe first component of the workshop will focus on:– An introduction to the IAR and the development of the suite of guidance documentation\, including stepped care in Australia.– Orientation to the domains\, levels of care\, and decision support tool. \n\n\n\nThe second component of the workshop is an interactive practical activity\, which includes:– Application of the IAR-DST using a consumer scenario.– Clinical judgement and supported decision-making. \n\n\n\nLearning outcomes1.
