DESCRIPTION:Date\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVenue\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOrganizer\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvoca Women’s Health are delighted to invite you to join their next session in the Evoca Education series presented by Dr Ros Foster. \n\n\n\nKey points the webinar will cover: \n\n\n\n\nAntibiotic resistance in bacterial STIs\n\n\n\nIncreased syphilis notifications in Australia\n\n\n\nHSV suppressive therapy – when to consider\n\n\n\n‘DoxyPEP’ syphilis – Post exposure prophylaxis with doxycycline\n\n\n\nThe mollicutes (mycoplasma and ureaplasma species – when to test and how to treat)\n\n\n\nRecurrent thrush and how to manage\n\n\n\nMenopause in hard to reach and underserved populations\n\n\n\nThe importance of using gender inclusive terminology\,\n\n\n\nparticularly in women’s health\n\n\n\nHIV indicator illnesses and testing\n\n\n\nGSM – don’t forget to ask about arousal\n\n\n\n\nDr Ros Foster is a staff specialist sexual health physician\, who completed higher specialist training in genitourinary medicine and HIV (Royal College of Physicians\, UK) and in Sexual Health Medicine (Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine\, RACP). She has worked in the field of sexual health since 2003 both in London and Sydney. \n\n\n\nShe works at Sydney Sexual Health Centre\, a publicly funded sexual health service in Sydney CBD\, and at Mounties Integrative Health Clinic in Freshwater\, Sydney. She is also a conjoint senior lecturer in Sexual Health at UNSW. Ros has published over 40 peer reviewed journal articles and over 20 conference abstracts. She has an interest in all things sexual health\, she is currently researching the impact of genitourinary syndrome of menopause in commercialsex workers.
