DESCRIPTION:Date\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVenue\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOrganiser\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEastern Melbourne Primary Health Network (EMPHN) runs training sessions on the IAR-DST for GPs\, general practice staff\, clinicians and other mental health service providers. \n\n\n\nThe training consists of a two-hour workshop delivered online with a focus on: \n\n\n\n\nIntroduction to the IAR-DST\n\n\n\nOrientation to the domains\, levels of care and decision support tool\n\n\n\nClinical judgement and supported decision-making\n\n\n\nApplication of the tool in assessment and intake settings (practical activity using a scenario)\n\n\n\n\nThe training is an RACGP CPD Approved Activity for the 2023–2026 triennium. \n\n\n\nEligible GPs who complete the training can claim a once-off payment of $300 (excluding GST). Payment is only available until 30 June 2025.

She has a GP background and has a specialist interest in pain management. She will talk about approaches to chronic pain management in a palliative care population. She will cover both pharmacological and non-pharmacological options\, including the role of acupuncture for which she uses regularly in her practice. \n\n\n\nWe also encourage you to share this registration link with any colleagues who might be interested in joining us for this insight session on Chronic Pain in Palliative Care.
