DESCRIPTION:Date\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVenue\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOrganiser\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis one-day course trains facilitators to deliver the Cancer Council Victoria (CCV) Managing Cancer and Cancer Wellness programs to small groups.  \n\n\n\nThe session includes guest presenters\, interactive discussions and activities. Presentation slides\, workbook and a CEP Facilitator Manual will be provided. \n\n\n\nLearning outcomes\n\n\n\n\nUnderstand the key concepts and benefits of the CEPs.\n\n\n\nRecognise adult learning principles and facilitation techniques. \n\n\n\nAppreciate the value of effective co-facilitation in delivering CEPs.\n\n\n\nBuild confidence in delivering CEPs using available resources.\n\n\n\nIdentify CEP resources to support recruitment and community outreach​.\n\n\n\n\nAfter completing training\n\n\n\nYou will be endorsed as a Cancer Council Victoria CEP facilitator.​​​ \n\n\n\nFacilitators are supported to deliver CCV CEPs within their health service and receive: \n\n\n\n\nAccess to a fully resourced online portal (program materials\, tools and templates)\n\n\n\nOngoing support including mentoring and debriefing\n\n\n\nMonthly communication and updates\n\n\n\nProfessional development opportunities\, including annual planning workshops\, showcases and masterclasses\n\n\n\n\nThe Cancer Education Programs (CEP) are group-based supportive care and education programs developed for people affected by cancer\, including carers\, families and friends.

DESCRIPTION:Date\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVenue\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOrganiser\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Nurse Ambassador Program provides practice nurses with the latest clinical knowledge about the four national cancer screening programs and viral hepatitis\, so they can effectively discuss and endorse cancer screening participation and drive cancer screening uptake. \n\n\n\nNurses will be recognised as a ‘Nurse Cancer Screening Ambassador’ after completing a series of four online webinars and submitting a reflective practice activity. \n\n\n\nThis program is free and open to all Victorian practice nurses.
