SUMMARY:Register for Cancer Council Victoria's Nurse Ambassador Program
DESCRIPTION:Date\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVenue\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOrganiser\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Nurse Ambassador Program will provide practice nurses with the latest clinical knowledge about the four national cancer screening programs (bowel\, breast\, cervical and lung) and viral hepatitis\, so they can effectively discuss and endorse cancer screening participation and drive cancer screening uptake in their practice.  \n\n\n\nThe program will also focus on how to engage and support underscreened communities in cancer screening and achieve health equity for all Australians.  \n\n\n\nNurses will be recognised as a ‘Nurse Cancer Screening Ambassador’ after completing a series of four online webinars and submitting a reflective practice activity.  \n\n\n\nThe next program will be running March 2026 and will be delivered online via Zoom on the following dates:  \n\n\n\n\nWebinar 1: Thursday 12 March 2026 1:00pm – 3:00pm \n\n\n\nWebinar 2: Tuesday 17 March 2026 1:00pm – 3:00pm \n\n\n\nWebinar 3: Thursday 26 March 2026 1:00pm – 3:00pm \n\n\n\nWebinar 4: Tuesday 31 March 2026 1:00pm – 3:00pm\n\n\n\n\nThis program is FREE and open to all practice nurses in Victoria!  \n\n\n\nIf you’d like any further information\, please contact 1800 111 255 or Certification@cancervic.org.au
