Practice Nurse, Hawthorn East Medical Centre

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate practice nurse to join our healthcare team at Hawthorn East Medical Centre. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, assist in the management of chronic diseases and support the overall health and wellness of our community. Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct patient assessments
– Administer vaccinations
– Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
– Provide patient education on health management including diabetes management
– Manage chronic disease care plans as well as health assessments
– Stock control of treatment room including ordering supplies
– Cold chain management and protocol
– Ability to perform ECG tests
– Maintain accurate patient records and uphold confidentiality

Qualifications:
– Registered Nurse (RN)
– 12 months experience in a GP setting
– Nurse Immuniser qualified favorable
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Knowledge of BP software
– Experience in GP management plans

Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $35.00 – $47.00 per hour
Expected hours: 23 – 37 per week

– Monday to Friday
– No weekends

Experience:
– General practice: 1 year (Required)
– Work Authorisation: Australia (Required)
