Practice Nurse, Camberwell Medical Group

Camberwell Medical Group are looking for a Div 1 registered nurse.

The position that is available is casual/part-time, 2-3 days a week. Thursday is a must plus Monday, Wednesday or Friday during flu season or busy days. (Please note, the clinic offers flexible working hours).

Essential for the role:

• Minimum 1-year recent general practice nursing experience
• APRHA registration
• Excellent communication skills
• Efficient time management and multi-tasking ability
• Proficient in electronic record keeping and computer skills using Best Practice

The position involves general nursing and medical reception duties including:

• Vaccinations
• Wound management
• Care plans
• Health assessments
• Diabetic assessments
• Infection control procedures
• Assisting doctors
• Telephone appointments
• Arriving and billing patients
• Medical stock control
• Iron infusions
• ECG
• Immunisations – travel and childhood
• Maintaining recall and reminder system
• Cold chain management
