The IAR and the IAR-DST are an Australian Government Department of Health\, Disability and Aging initiative bringing together information from various sources\, including Australian and international evidence and advice from various leading experts. \n\n\n\nOnline live workshopThe first component of the workshop will focus on:– An introduction to the IAR and the development of the suite of guidance documentation\, including stepped care in Australia.– Orientation to the domains\, levels of care\, and decision support tool. \n\n\n\nThe second component of the workshop is an interactive practical activity\, which includes:– Application of the IAR-DST using a consumer scenario.– Clinical judgement and supported decision-making. \n\n\n\nLearning outcomes1. Discuss the principles underpinning the national approach to stepped care.2. Summarise the IAR development process.3. Explain the use of the IAR Guidance in practice settings to generate a recommended level of care.4. List the levels of care in relation to available regional services5. DESCRIPTION:Date\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVenue\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOrganiser\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis interactive online course is designed to help pharmacy staff confidently navigate sensitive sexual and reproductive health concerns\, especially in less private settings.  \n\n\n\nDelivered over two sessions by experienced pharmacists and sexual and reproductive health professionals\, the program covers topics such as sexually transmissible infections\, contraception and unintended pregnancy.  \n\n\n\nKnowledge will be translated into practice through various case scenarios and by exploring strategies to improve access to sexual and reproductive health care across various pharmacy settings.   \n\n\n\nOn completion of this course\, participants will be able to:  \n\n\n\n\nExplain the importance of using effective\, inclusive and non-judgmental language when discussing sexual and reproductive health. \n\n\n\nDiscuss considerations when counselling for contraception and unintended pregnancy.\n\n\n\nOutline appropriate referral pathways to support patient’s sexual and reproductive health.  \n\n\n\nPropose strategies to improve access to sexual and reproductive health in pharmacy.
