DESCRIPTION:Date\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVenue\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOrganiser\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNational Eating Disorders Collaboration (NEDC) and Eating Disorders Victoria (EDV) invite you to join an engaging webinar on eating disorders. \n\n\n\nDuring the webinar\, attendees will hear from the NEDC and EDV teams about: \n\n\n\n\nThe context for eating disorders in Victoria\, including the stepped system of care\, Victorian Eating Disorders Strategy\, and the National Eating Disorders Strategy\n\n\n\nThe role of GPs and PHNs in preventing\, identifying\, responding and providing treatment for people experiencing eating disorders\n\n\n\nThe core principles of treatment for eating disorders\n\n\n\nReferral pathways within Victoria\, including updates on new initiatives and programs\n\n\n\nServices and supports available through Eating Disorders Victoria\n\n\n\nTraining\, tools and resources to support you in your role\n\n\n\n\nAttendees will also hear from a person with lived experience of an eating disorder about their experience of primary care during their recovery journey. \n\n\n\nThe webinar is for GPs\, nurses\, practice nurses\, and other health professionals involved in the response to and care of people at risk of\, or experiencing eating disorders. \n\n\n\nThis webinar will be accredited by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) as an RACGP-approved CPD activity under the RACGP CPD Program. \n\n\n\nThis webinar is provided in partnership with Murray PHN\, Eastern Melbourne PHN\, Gippsland PHN\, South Eastern PHN\, and North Western PHN.
