DESCRIPTION:Date\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVenue\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOrganiser\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCancer Council Victoria is pleased to announce that registrations for the next Nurse Ambassador Program are now open!  \n\n\n\nThe Nurse Ambassador Program provides practice nurses with the latest clinical knowledge about the four national cancer screening programs and viral hepatitis\, so they can effectively discuss and endorse cancer screening participation and drive cancer screening uptake.  \n\n\n\nNurses will be recognised as a ‘Nurse Cancer Screening Ambassador’ after completing a series of four online webinars and submitting a reflective practice activity.  \n\n\n\nThis program is free and open to all Victorian practice nurses.  \n\n\n\nThe next program will be running July/August 2026 and will be delivered online via Zoom.  \n\n\n\nDates:\n\n\n\n\nWebinar 1 – Thursday 23 July 2026\, 1pm – 3pm\n\n\n\nWebinar 2 – Tuesday 28 July 2026\, 1pm – 3pm\n\n\n\nWebinar 3 – Thursday 6 August 2026\, 1pm – 3pm\n\n\n\nWebinar 4 – Tuesday 11 August 2026\, 1pm – 3pm. \n\n\n\n\nWhat the webinars will cover: \n\n\n\nWebinar 1 \n\n\n\n\nAn overview of under-screened communities including barriers and enablers to cancer screening. \n\n\n\nPlain language in cancer screening. \n\n\n\n\nWebinar 2 \n\n\n\n\nBreast screening.\n\n\n\nNational Bowel Cancer Screening Program. \n\n\n\n\nWebinar 3\n\n\n\n\nHepatitis prevention and immunisation.\n\n\n\nCancer Screening Resources Hub and case studies.\n\n\n\n\nWebinar 4\n\n\n\n\nCervical screening\, self-collection and HPV.\n\n\n\nNational Lung Cancer Screening Program.\n\n\n\nReflective practice activity and next steps after NAP.
