Presented by Ash Van Leeuwestyn\, Better Billing \n\n\n\nSESSION ONE: The 715 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Assessment \n\n\n\nLearning outcomes:  \n\n\n\n\nIdentify and implement appropriate policies and initiatives regarding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health to optimise outcomes\n\n\n\nIdentify and promote ways to achieve health equity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people\n\n\n\nIdentify and promote social\, environmental and cultural determinants of health in the local community\n\n\n\nFacilitate timely and appropriate use of relevant Indigenous-specific health measures and MBS/PBS items\n\n\n\n\nSESSION TWO: Small\, mighty and lost – the MBS numbers we are all missing \n\n\n\nLearning outcomes:  \n\n\n\n\nDefine a planned and opportunistic approach to provide health screening\, preventive care and health-promotion activities in a culturally appropriate way\n\n\n\nIdentify and promote ways to achieve health equity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people\n\n\n\n\nSESSION THREE: Care plans and chronic disease – the MBS update \n\n\n\nLearning outcomes:  \n\n\n\n\nDevelop chronic disease management plans that address the interactions and complications of multisystem disease and the use of multiple medications\n\n\n\nIdentify appropriate Medicare item numbers that assist in the management of chronic disease\n\n\n\n\nDates:  \n\n\n\n\nSession One: 29th October 7.00pm – 8.00pm\n\n\n\nSession Two: 20th November 7.00pm – 8.00pm\n\n\n\nSession Three: 10th December 7.00pm – 8.00pm
