Key factors will be reviewed\, with a brief summary of initial workup and points to include in onwards referral. \n\n\n\nSpeaker: \n\n\n\nDr Holly Sexton (MBBS (Hons)\, FACD) is an Australian-trained specialist dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. \n\n\n\nShe completed her training at tertiary centres including Western Health\, RCH\, RMH\, Austin Health\, PMCC and Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide.  \n\n\n\nHolly was awarded the ACD Travelling Scholarship and Founders Medal for her results in exit examinations. She provides dermatology services to the northern and western suburbs of Melbourne in private practice and public clinics at Western Health and Melbourne Health. He has an interests in inflammatory bowel disease and bowel cancer screening.\n\nA/Prof Ward provides face-to-face and telehealth consultations out of his Glen Iris rooms and perform gastroscopy and colonoscopy regularly at Cabrini Malvern\, where he also participates in the out-of-hours roster.\n\nA/Prof Ward works at the Alfred Hospital and conduct clinical research through the Alfred and Monash University in inflammatory bowel disease. \n\n\n\nLearning outcomes: \n\n\n\n\nApply a structured clinical approach to the assessment of adults with chronic diarrhoea\, distinguishing functional from organic causes.\n\n\n\nDiscuss the most appropriate investigations\, including faecal calprotectin\, to avoid unnecessary or low-yield testing.\n\n\n\nIdentify patients who require specialist referral\, including recognition of commonly overlooked diagnoses such as microscopic colitis and bile acid diarrhoea.

Dr Samuel completed a two-year fellowship in interventional and structural cardiology at Vancouver General Hospital in British Columbia\, Canada\, where he gained extensive experience in complex coronary and structural heart procedures.  \n\n\n\nDr Samuel’s areas of expertise include coronary angiography\, coronary stenting\, intravascular imaging\, and advanced transcatheter structural interventions. He is an accredited cardiac CT specialist and regularly review and report CT coronary angiograms. The program covers common and high-impact clinical presentations including benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)\, erectile dysfunction\, haematuria\, urinary incontinence\, kidney stones\, urethral stricture disease\, prostate cancer\, kidney lesions and testicular cancer. \n\n\n\nLearning outcomes: \n\n\n\n\nIdentify and risk-stratify red flag urological symptoms that require urgent investigation or specialist referral.\n\n\n\nInterpret and apply evidence-based use of PSA testing\, imaging (including MRI and PSMA PET)\, urinalysis and metabolic investigations in primary care.\n\n\n\nInitiate and optimise first-line management for LUTS\, erectile dysfunction\, urinary incontinence and kidney stones\, particularly in older adults with multimorbidity.\n\n\n\nImplement appropriate referral pathways and shared-care models for patients with prostate\, kidney and testicular cancer\, including post-treatment community management.\n\n\n\n\nThe meeting is structured to translate specialist knowledge into practical skills that improve early cancer detection\, optimise chronic urological disease management\, and strengthen collaboration between primary and specialist care. \n\n\n\nMore information HERE.
