SUMMARY:COVID-19 vaccination in Australian general practice Quality Improvement Program
DESCRIPTION:Date\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVenue\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOrganiser\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin our experts as they discuss latest recommendations for COVID-19 vaccination in older patients. This practice-wide quality improvement exercise will enable you to identify potential barriers to vaccine uptake and check your performance against evidence-based benchmarks. \n\n\n\nThere are two pathways for this program\, one for GPs\, and one for Practice staff (including practice managers\, practice nurses and other relevant practice staff). You can stop at any time\, and progress will be saved. You can find education you have started on your Dashboard. \n\n\n\nOn completion of this quality improvement program\, you will be able to: \n\n\n\n\nUnderstand the current status of COVID-19 in Australia\, in particular its impact on older patients in primary care \n\n\n\nClarify the role of vaccination in preventing COVID-19-related morbidity and mortality in older patients \n\n\n\nReview current best practice recommendations for COVID-19 vaccination in patients aged 65 and older \n\n\n\nUsing a team-based approach\, decide on quality improvement targets and actions related to improving uptake of COVID-19 vaccines in older patients in primary care \n\n\n\nImplement and reflect on practice-wide quality improvement initiatives for increasing COVID-19 vaccine uptake
